He worked in the software industry for 15 years and has traveled to many countries like the U.S.A. and the U.K. as part of the work. He returned to India a few years back in the interest of developing agricultural activities in his native place. He has started an agricultural farm using organic methods.
Dr. RVSK Reddy
Assosciate Dean
With 36 years of vast experience in the field of agriculture, Dr. RVSK Reddy has taken charge as Associate Dean of NS Agricultural College in 2022. He has authored 119 research articles, 99 popular articles, 8 short communications, and 38 other publications like book chapters, newsletters, abstracts, etc. He received several awards which include but are not limited to the Best Scientist (Extension) award from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in 2009, , the Seed Scientist award from Seedsmen Association, Hyderabad in 2016, Eminent Scientist Award from Samagra Vikas Welfare Society, Lucknow in 2017, Distinguished Scientist Award at 2nd International Conference on Food & Agriculture-2018, Dhanbad in 2018, etc. He was involved in the development and release of seven coconut varieties which also include the first coconut hybrid “Godavari Ganga” and two varieties of vegetables. Instrumental in getting Best KVK award at Zonal and National level.
